Aims and Scope

PIETAS: Jurnal Studi Agama dan Lintas Budaya (Journal of Religious and Cross-Cultural Studies) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing critical and interdisciplinary research on religion, spirituality, culture, and society. The journal serves as an academic forum for scholars to explore religious phenomena, cultural dynamics, and social transformations through diverse theoretical, methodological, and comparative perspectives.

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each submission undergoes an initial editorial assessment to evaluate its relevance to the journal's aims and scope, originality, academic contribution, methodological rigor, ethical standards, and compliance with publication guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the submitted manuscript.
