Archiving Policy

DEVOTION: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The journal maintains digital archives of published articles, metadata, and publication records to preserve the continuity and reliability of the scholarly record.

Digital Archiving and Preservation

All published articles and associated metadata are preserved through the journal's electronic publishing system. DEVOTION applies appropriate technical and administrative measures to maintain access to published content and reduce the risk of data loss caused by system failures, platform migration, or other technical disruptions.

The journal's archiving practices include:

  • Maintaining permanent digital copies of published articles and journal issues.
  • Preserving article metadata, bibliographic information, and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs).
  • Conducting regular backups of journal databases and publication records.
  • Maintaining the integrity and accessibility of published content.
  • Supporting content recovery and migration when required.

External Preservation Services

DEVOTION supports the long-term preservation and discoverability of published content through recognized scholarly infrastructure, repositories, indexing services, and digital archiving systems where available.

The journal may deposit article metadata and published content through appropriate preservation and scholarly communication services in accordance with its Open Access Statement and Copyright and License Policy.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted to archive and share their published articles through institutional repositories, personal academic websites, research networks, or other appropriate scholarly platforms under the terms of the journal's Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Authors should ensure that:

  • The original publication in DEVOTION: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is properly cited.
  • The article DOI or permanent publication link is provided whenever available.
  • Reuse and redistribution comply with the applicable Creative Commons license.

Preservation of the Scholarly Record

DEVOTION maintains the reliability and transparency of the scholarly record by preserving published articles, article metadata, DOI information, publication history, corrections, retractions, and other post-publication notices when applicable.
