Conflict of Interest

DEVOTION: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat recognizes the importance of transparency and integrity in scholarly publishing. All authors, reviewers, editors, and other parties involved in the publication process must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity, evaluation, or decision-making process related to a manuscript.

Authors' Responsibilities

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, professional, or other relationships that could reasonably be considered to influence the research, community engagement activity, interpretation of results, or publication decision.

Authors should declare:

• Sources of funding or financial support for the reported work.
• Institutional partnerships, collaborations, or affiliations related to the manuscript.
• Any personal or professional relationships that may influence the objectivity of the work.

If no conflict of interest exists, authors should provide a statement confirming the absence of conflicts.

Reviewers' Responsibilities

Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest that may affect their ability to provide an objective and independent evaluation of a manuscript.

Reviewers should decline review assignments when conflicts arise from personal, academic, professional, financial, institutional, collaborative, or competitive relationships with the authors, institutions, or reported work.

Editors' Responsibilities

Editors must manage manuscripts objectively and independently. Editors should not handle manuscripts where they have personal, professional, financial, or institutional conflicts of interest.

When a conflict of interest exists, the manuscript should be assigned to another qualified editor to ensure an impartial editorial process.

Publisher and Journal Management

Yayasan Yuta Pendidikan Cerdas, Indonesia, as the publisher of DEVOTION, supports editorial independence and ensures that ownership, sponsorship, or other external interests do not influence editorial decisions.

Publication decisions are based solely on academic quality, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, peer-review outcomes, ethical compliance, and scholarly contribution.

Disclosure and Management of Conflicts

Declared conflicts of interest will be evaluated and managed appropriately to maintain transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the publication process.

Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in editorial action, including manuscript rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction of a published article when necessary.
