Archiving Policy

Educatum: Jurnal Dunia Pendidikan is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, integrity, and continuity of its published scholarly content. The journal maintains digital copies of published articles, associated metadata, publication records, and supporting journal information to minimize the risk of permanent data loss and to preserve the scholarly record.

Digital Preservation

Published articles and their associated metadata are preserved within the journal's electronic publishing system and maintained as part of Educatum's digital archive. The journal takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to maintain continued access to published content in the event of system maintenance, technical failure, platform migration, or other disruptions.

Educatum's digital preservation practices include:

  • maintaining digital copies of published articles and associated metadata;

  • performing periodic backups of journal data and publication records;

  • preserving article identifiers, including Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs);

  • maintaining the integrity and accessibility of published issues and articles;

  • supporting migration of journal content to updated systems or file formats when necessary; and

  • implementing recovery procedures to reduce the risk of permanent loss of published content.

Long-Term Accessibility

Educatum is committed to maintaining permanent access to its published scholarly content. Published articles remain part of the journal's scholarly record even when corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, or other post-publication actions are required.

Any changes to the status of a published article will be documented transparently and linked to the original publication in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and related editorial policies.

External Archiving and Preservation Services

Where applicable, Educatum may participate in recognized digital preservation systems, scholarly repositories, indexing services, or archiving networks to strengthen the long-term preservation, discoverability, and accessibility of its published content.

The journal may also deposit or distribute article metadata and published content through appropriate scholarly infrastructure in accordance with its Open Access Statement and Copyright & License Policy.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted to archive and disseminate their published articles through institutional repositories, personal academic websites, academic networks, or other appropriate scholarly platforms, provided that:

  • the original publication in Educatum: Jurnal Dunia Pendidikan is properly cited and acknowledged;

  • the article's DOI or permanent publication link is included where available; and

  • the reuse complies with the journal's applicable Creative Commons license.

Preservation of the Scholarly Record

Educatum seeks to preserve the integrity and continuity of its published record by maintaining stable bibliographic information, article metadata, DOI identifiers, publication history, and post-publication notices where applicable.

Through these archiving and preservation practices, Educatum aims to ensure that its published educational scholarship remains accessible to researchers, educators, practitioners, institutions, policymakers, and the wider academic community over the long term.
