Post Publication Discussion

Educatum: Jurnal Dunia Pendidikan recognizes that scholarly communication continues beyond the publication of an article. The journal supports responsible post-publication discussion, academic dialogue, and constructive exchange of ideas to enhance the development of educational research and knowledge.

Readers, researchers, educators, and other stakeholders are encouraged to provide comments, questions, clarifications, or scholarly responses regarding published articles when appropriate.

Purpose of Post-Publication Discussion

Post-publication discussion aims to:

  • encourage constructive academic dialogue among researchers, educators, and practitioners;

  • provide opportunities for clarification, interpretation, and further discussion of published findings;

  • identify potential errors, limitations, or areas requiring further investigation;

  • support continuous improvement and development of educational scholarship.

Submission of Comments and Responses

Comments, academic responses, or discussions related to published articles may be submitted to the Editorial Office of Educatum: Jurnal Dunia Pendidikan.

Submissions should:

  • be based on academic reasoning and relevant evidence;

  • maintain professional, respectful, and constructive language;

  • clearly identify the article, issue, or argument being discussed; and

  • contribute meaningful perspectives to scholarly discussion.

Editorial Review of Post-Publication Discussions

All submitted comments or responses will be reviewed by the Editorial Team to ensure relevance, academic quality, ethical compliance, and appropriateness before publication or dissemination.

The Editorial Team may request revisions, clarification, or additional supporting information when necessary.

Author Response

When appropriate, the original authors may be invited to provide a response or clarification regarding comments or discussions related to their published work.

Author responses should address academic issues objectively and contribute to constructive scholarly exchange.

Ethical Standards

Post-publication discussions must follow the same ethical standards applied to scholarly publishing.

The journal does not accept comments or responses containing:

  • personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate language;

  • unsupported allegations of misconduct;

  • false information or intentionally misleading statements;

  • confidential information obtained without authorization; or

  • content that violates applicable ethical or legal requirements.

Relation to Corrections and Retractions

Post-publication discussions that identify potential errors, ethical concerns, or issues affecting the reliability of published findings may be further evaluated according to Educatum: Jurnal Dunia Pendidikan's Correction and Retraction Policy and Research Misconduct Policy.

Where necessary, the journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other editorial notices to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
