Authorship and Contribution

Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin (JUILMU) recognizes that authorship represents both academic contribution and responsibility for published research. All individuals listed as authors must have made substantial contributions to the research process and must take responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the published work.

Authorship Criteria

To qualify as an author, individuals should meet the following criteria:

  • Make substantial contributions to the conception, design, methodology, data collection, data analysis, or interpretation of the research.
  • Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
  • Approve the final version of the manuscript before publication.
  • Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work and ensure that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of the research are appropriately addressed.

Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section of the manuscript.

Author Contributions

Authors are encouraged to clearly describe their individual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. Contributions may include:

  • Conceptualization and development of research ideas.
  • Research methodology design.
  • Data collection and analysis.
  • Software development or technical support.
  • Writing the original manuscript.
  • Reviewing and editing the manuscript.
  • Project supervision and research management.

Corresponding Author Responsibilities

The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal during the submission, review, and publication process. The corresponding author must ensure that:

  • All listed authors have approved the submitted manuscript.
  • All authors agree with the order of authorship.
  • All necessary declarations, including conflicts of interest and ethical statements, have been properly completed.
  • All communication with the journal is handled appropriately throughout the publication process.

Changes in Authorship

Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors after manuscript submission must be accompanied by a written explanation and approval from all authors involved.

Changes in authorship will only be considered by the Editor when valid reasons are provided and all authors provide their agreement. The journal reserves the right to reject authorship changes that do not comply with ethical publishing standards.

Authorship Misconduct

JUILMU considers inappropriate authorship practices, including guest authorship, ghost authorship, and honorary authorship, as violations of publication ethics.

Cases involving authorship disputes or unethical authorship practices may be investigated according to the journal's research integrity procedures and applicable publication ethics guidelines.

Acknowledgment of Contributions

Individuals or organizations that provide assistance but do not meet authorship criteria may be recognized in the acknowledgment section. Authors should ensure that all contributors receive appropriate recognition for their involvement in the research.
