Online Submissions

Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin (JUILMU) uses an online submission system through the Open Journal System (OJS) to manage manuscript submission, peer review, editorial communication, and publication processes.

All authors are required to submit manuscripts through the official JUILMU OJS platform. Manuscripts submitted through email, instant messaging applications, or other communication channels outside the official submission system will not be considered for publication.

Author Registration

Authors must have an active account with JUILMU before submitting a manuscript. Authors who do not yet have an account must register through the OJS platform available on the journal website.

Registered authors may use their username and password to:

  • Submit new manuscripts.
  • Upload revised manuscript files during the review process.
  • Monitor manuscript progress and editorial workflow.
  • Receive editorial decisions and publication notifications.

Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript follows the JUILMU Author Guidelines and official manuscript template.
  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the submitted version of the manuscript.
  • Required declarations, including authorship, conflict of interest, funding information, and ethical statements where applicable, have been completed.
  • All required manuscript files and supporting documents have been uploaded correctly.

Submission Workflow

Manuscripts submitted through JUILMU OJS will proceed through the following stages:

  1. Author registration and manuscript submission.
  2. Editorial screening to assess scope, originality, formatting, and ethical compliance.
  3. Similarity checking using plagiarism detection software.
  4. Double-blind peer-review process by independent reviewers.
  5. Editorial decision and communication with authors.
  6. Revision, copyediting, proofreading, and final publication.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during submission is accurate and complete. Authors must regularly monitor their OJS account for communication regarding the status of their manuscript and respond to editorial requests within the specified timeframe.
