Types of Manuscript

Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin (JUILMU) accepts various types of scientific manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of multidisciplinary knowledge. All submitted manuscripts must be original works, have not been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication in any other journal.

All manuscripts will undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial team and a peer-review process in accordance with international standards of academic publishing ethics.

1. Original Research Article

An Original Research Article presents original findings from research conducted using appropriate and scientifically justified methodologies.

This type of manuscript may employ various research approaches, including:

Quantitative research
Qualitative research
Mixed-methods research
Experimental studies
Survey research
Field studies
Research and development (R&D)
Other relevant research approaches within the scope of the journal

The manuscript should include:

A clear research background and objectives
Relevant literature review

2. Review Article

A Review Article provides a comprehensive and critical analysis of current developments in a specific field of study.

Review articles should provide:

Recommendations for future research directions

Accepted review article formats include:

Narrative Review

3. Short Communication

A Short Communication is a concise scientific manuscript that reports significant findings, preliminary research results, innovative ideas, or emerging developments with important academic value.

This manuscript type may include:

Development of new concepts, approaches, or methods

Short Communications must still meet scientific standards and undergo peer-review evaluation.

4. Case Study

A Case Study provides an in-depth scientific analysis of a specific case or phenomenon using an appropriate research approach.

Cases may include:

The manuscript should provide:

A detailed description of the case context
Theoretical and literature-based analysis

5. Methodological Article

A Methodological Article introduces, develops, or evaluates new research methods, instruments, models, or methodological approaches.

The manuscript should explain:

The theoretical foundation of the proposed method
Development procedures
Validation or evaluation processes
Strengths and limitations of the method

This type of manuscript must demonstrate clear methodological contributions to the academic community.

Recommended manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words.

General Requirements for All Manuscripts

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin (JUILMU) must comply with the following requirements:

Manuscripts must be original works and have not been previously published.
Manuscripts must not be simultaneously submitted or under review by another journal.
Research must comply with applicable research ethics principles.
All sources must be properly cited according to the journal's citation guidelines.
Manuscripts may be screened using similarity detection software.
Manuscripts must follow the journal's submission guidelines and formatting requirements.
The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance remains the authority of the Editor based on editorial evaluation and peer-review results.
