Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin (JUILMU) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity, academic responsibility, and ethical publishing practices. The journal does not tolerate any form of research misconduct or unethical behavior in the research and publication process.
Research misconduct refers to any intentional or negligent action that violates ethical standards and compromises the accuracy, reliability, or integrity of scientific research and scholarly communication.

Research misconduct may include, but is not limited to:
- Fabrication
The creation or reporting of false data, results, or research information that did not actually occur. - Falsification
The manipulation, alteration, omission, or misrepresentation of research data, methods, materials, or results. - Plagiarism
The use of another person's ideas, words, data, or work without appropriate acknowledgment or citation. - Duplicate Publication
The submission or publication of substantially similar research findings in more than one journal without proper disclosure and justification. - Manipulation of Citations
The excessive or inappropriate addition of citations with the purpose of artificially increasing citation metrics or influencing journal rankings. - Authorship Misconduct
Improper attribution of authorship, including guest authorship, ghost authorship, or exclusion of individuals who have made significant contributions. - Ethical Violations in Research
Failure to comply with applicable ethical standards involving human participants, animals, research data, or other regulated research activities.
Handling of Research Misconduct Allegations
JUILMU takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously. Reports or concerns regarding possible misconduct may be submitted to the editorial office for investigation.
The journal will conduct an initial assessment to determine whether further investigation is required. When necessary, the editorial team may request clarification from authors, consult independent experts, or contact relevant institutions.
Editorial Actions
If research misconduct is confirmed, JUILMU may take appropriate actions, including:
- Requesting corrections or clarifications from authors.
- Rejecting manuscripts that violate research integrity standards.
- Issuing corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions for published articles.
- Informing relevant institutions or authorities when necessary.
- Restricting future submissions from authors involved in serious misconduct cases.
