Data Availability Policy
Jurnal Ilmiah Multidisiplin (JUILMU) supports transparency, accountability, and reproducibility in scholarly research. The journal encourages authors to make research data available whenever possible to support verification, reuse, and further development of scientific knowledge.
Data Sharing Requirements
Authors are encouraged to provide access to the data underlying their research findings. Data supporting published articles should be made available through appropriate and reliable data repositories whenever possible.
Authors should include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript describing where and how the research data can be accessed.
Data Availability Statement
Authors should provide one of the following statements according to the availability of their research data:
- Data available:
The datasets generated or analyzed during the current study are available from an appropriate repository or can be obtained from the corresponding author upon reasonable request. - Data available upon request:
The data are not publicly available due to specific restrictions but may be provided by the corresponding author upon reasonable request. - Data not available:
The research did not generate or analyze datasets, or data sharing is not applicable to this study. - Restricted data:
Data availability may be limited due to ethical, privacy, confidentiality, legal, or security considerations.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that shared research data:
- Accurately represents the research findings reported in the manuscript.
- Is properly documented to enable understanding and appropriate reuse.
- Complies with ethical standards, privacy regulations, and applicable legal requirements.
- Does not violate confidentiality agreements or the rights of research participants.
Ethical and Privacy Considerations
For research involving human participants, confidential information, or sensitive data, authors must ensure that data sharing complies with relevant ethical approval requirements and privacy protection regulations.
JUILMU recognizes that certain datasets cannot be openly shared due to ethical, legal, or confidentiality restrictions. In such cases, authors should clearly explain the limitations in their Data Availability Statement.
Data Integrity and Research Transparency
JUILMU encourages responsible data management practices and promotes transparency throughout the research and publication process. Authors should retain research data and related materials for a reasonable period after publication to support verification and academic discussion when necessary.
Editorial Consideration
The editorial team may request access to research data or supporting materials when necessary to evaluate the validity, reliability, or integrity of submitted manuscripts.
Failure to provide appropriate data information when required may affect editorial decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or publication.
